பாரப்பா பரப்பிரமம் ஒளிவி னாலே

பத்தியே நரம்புவழி பாயும் போது

ஆரப்பா இருகண்ணில் ஒளிவ தாகி

அண்டமெல்லாம் ஏகமாய்த் தெரியலாச்சு

காரப்பா நரம்பென்ற வி ழுது வட்டம்

கபாலத்தில் முக்கூறாய்ச் சுழுனை யாச்சு

வீ ரப்பா காதுக்கும் நாக்குக் குந்தான்

வெற்றிபெற இன்னமுந்தா னுரைக்க கேளே.

See son¹! Owing to the eternal light of the parabrahmam²

When it flows hot in your energy pathways

See the light in both your eyes

The only one, the eternal path of the light, appeared as such

See the circle of the polyp, the energy pathway

In the crown, the trio³ became the whorl of light in the forehead

Rise up, in the space, between ears and straight a bit above the tongue

To be victorious, listen son, I will speak forth, more.

² The supreme being, or the eternal being, or the parabrahmam.

சித்தம் ஏது சிந்தை ஏது சீவன் ஏது சித்தரே

சத்திஏது சம்புஏது சாதிபேதம் அற்றெது

முத்திஏது மூலம்ஏது மூலமந்திரங்கள் ஏது

வித்தில்லாத வித்திலே இன்னதென்று இயம்புமே.

O Mystic¹! Is it Intelligence*? Is it thought? Is it soul?

Is it energy? Is it bliss²? Is it the one that can’t be subjected to discrimination³?

Is it final salvation⁴? Is it source? Is it basic mantras?

In the non-existent⁵ path⁶, point it out—what is it?
