சித்தமற்று சிந்தையற்று சீவனற்று நின்றிடம்

சத்தியற்று சம்புவற்று சாதிபேத மற்றுநன்

முத்தியற்று மூலமற்று மூலமந்திரங்களும்

வித்தை இத்தை ஈன்றவி த்தல் விளைந்ததே சிவாயமே!

The place it stood; sans intelligence sans thought sans soul

Sans powers sans bliss sans discrimination

Sans salvation sans source, source mantras

Sans skills, in the source, appeared “Si Va Ya Me¹”

¹ These letters “Si Va Ye (சி வா ய)” invokes the lamp within, and lets it rest on the space above the crown of one’s head, hence Siddhar Sivavakiyar says that these letters appear (take form) so magically form a source that is not the source, in a space that doesn’t belong to anyone, neither any discrimination, nor any form and matter of any physical and meta physical existence.

¹ Shield here means protecting oneself with rites and rituals like wearing rings, smearing ash, wearing wrist bands, and all such, that one considers as things that are protecting themselves.

² Kuthambai is a female name. So it is generally considered that this Siddhar is either talking to himself, or speaking to his female disciple named Kuthambai.
