ஒமென்ற சுழுனையடா அண்ட வுச்சி

ஒமுடிந்த பட்டணத்துக் கப்பாற் சென்று

நாமென்று சொல்லற்று யோக ஞானம்

நாட்டுகிறேன் அஞ்சனமுந் திலதப் போக்கும்

வாமென்ற வயித்தியமும் அட்ட கர்மம்

வாதமென்ற வி த்தையெல்லாந் தெளிவ தாகக்

காமென்ற பீடமதிற் கண்டு தேறிக்

காட்டுகிறேன் மெய்ஞ்ஞானக் கருவைப் பாரே.

The crown is the manifestation of the mulanadi¹, the word ‘om’

Going beyond the place where ‘om’ has ended

The knowing of the yoga wisdom² that exist without dualities

Fixing the locus and the prana³

The medicinal word “va”⁴, and the eight manifestation⁵

And the wisdom behind the light body transformation, be known clearly

After witnessing and passing the pedestal ‘ka’⁶

Let me show you! See the seed of the true wisdom.

¹ The central energy between the right (suryakalai) and the left (chandrakalai) energy pathways.

² Knowing thy inner self.

³ The inner self in the lamp form.

⁴ This could either mean the vital life force (vasi), the panacea for all our ills, or the word “va”, the one that is used to invoke the vital life force (vasi) when we keep repeatedly chanting the mantra ‘va si’ ‘va si’ which in turn is nothing but the mantras, ‘si va’, or ‘si va si’, or 'si va ya va si'.

⁵ The eight manifestations are listed below:

            [01] தம்பனம் [Thambanam]: ஒரு இயக்கத்தை அப்படியே ஸ்தம்பிக்கச் செய்தல். To stop an action; arresting motion; immobilization.

     [02] வசியம் [Vasiyam]: தன் வசப்படுத்துதல். Seduction; to seduce.

      [03] உச்சாடனம் [Ucchadanam]:, தீய சக்தி/ தீய அதிர்வுகளில் இருந்து, தன்னை தானே சுத்தப் படுத்திக் கொள்ளுதல். To cleanse/defend oneself from evil/negative forces.

      [04] மோகனம் [Mohanam]: தன்னை மோகம் கொள்ளச்செய்தல். Making others lust oneself.

      [05] மாரணம் [Maranam]: பகைவனை கொள்ளுதல்/செயல் இழக்கச்செய்தல். Killing/weakening/immobilizing your enemies.

      [06] பேதனம் [Bethanam]: ஒருவரை தன் நிலையை இழக்கச்செய்தல். Making one lose one’s mind.

     [07] ஆக்ருஷணம் [Ahkrushnam]: ஒருவரை பணியச்செய்தல். Making one surrender unto him.

     [08] வித்வேஷணம் [Vithveshanam]: ஒருவரை மற்றொன்றை வெறுக்கச்செய்தல். Making one hate another.

⁶ Here, it means the vital life force (vasi) passing the crown of one's head.
